Why is Jack unique? Why is he a new kind of farmer? Jack was a sunflower sprouting in Farmer Smith's field with all the other seeds. But as he grew, he discovered he was growing up differently than the other sprouts. He was separating from his roots! He was going to have to leave his comfortable field and predictable outcomes to have a life full of new possibilities. He realizes he, too, is destined to learn to be a farmer. Jack Sprout is a story - and an idea - that kids and adults of all ages enjoy.

And Jack Sprout inspires people in different ways. Families read the powerful stories to their youngest and give the book to their middle elementary readers.
